Bottom Gusseted Standup Pouch is the most common used pouch among all the standup pouches, widely used for nuts, foods, snacks, juice, liquid products etc.

So, when customer reach us with their artwork design, and would like to realize the best effect of their artwork on the standup pouch, usually they provide doypacks as below

However, as most artwork designs, the designers may not label the exactly type for the bottom, and on the other hand, the bottom is quite important for a whole standup pouch.

So, we are going to list the 4 common types for the bottom, that will need to be solicted in standup pouch production.

1) Clear Bottom

Clear bottom is transparent, you can see clearly through the bottom. So, when the package use this clear bottom, it means you enable the consumers to see the products inside.

2) Semi-transpartent bottom

This semi-transpartent bottom is realized by printing a layer of ink on the bottom, however, it is not absolute opaque, it will also enable the consumers have a close look into the products.

3) Solid Opaque Bottom

This bottom is solid white, opaque, you will never be able to see through the bottom, some products like liquid detergents, that will have to be avoided from direct sunlight, prefer this bottom package.

4) Matt Finish Bottom

Matt Finish bottom is usually opaque, that will not be able to see through, however, matt finish is used to improve the visual effect for the bottom. Some customer may believe not necessary,  however, when the whole body for your pouch is matt finish, and you choose a glossy bottom, it is just not in harmony.
